BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE | |||
Please briefly present the partner organisation. | Słowińska Fisheries Group (SGR) is an association the objective of which for the past over 15 years has been to support local development. SGR has around 140 members belonging to the public, social and economic sectors. We began our activity with the implementation of the Operational Programme for the Sustainable Development of Fisheries Sector and Coastal Fishing Areas 2007-2013 (project value: approx. PLN 43 million), Operational Programme “Fisheries and the Sea” for the years of 2014-2020 (approx. EUR 4 million) and Operational Programme for the Development of Rural Areas for the years of 2014 – 2020 (approx. EUR 3 million). We are currently implementing the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for the years 2023-2027 (budget approx. 2.5 million euros) and European Funds for Pomerania for the years 2021-2027 (budget approx. 2.5 million euros). We are also in the process of evaluating the Local Development Strategy of the European Funds for Fisheries Program for the years 2021-2027 (budget approx. 3.2 million euros). While implementing the above-menioned programmes (Community-led local development approach), we support the development of local entrepreneurship by providing grants and education support to citizens who wish to set up or develop their own economic activity, fishermen, non-governmental organisations and units of the territorial self-governments, including groups excluded from the labor market (young people, women, people with lower than secondary education) and socially (children and adolescents, seniors, people with disabilities). Other landmarks of SGR: initiating innovative activities on an area scale (creation of the Slovincian Fishery Trail and Northern Fishery Trail – 2013 and winning the award of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in the category of creative offer), establishment of the Center of Non-Governmental Organizations – 2013, under which projects with Civic Initiatives Fund, Operational Programme 'Human Resources Development’ and currently – Regional Operational Programme (Social Economy Support Center) were implemented. headquarters was built in 2015 (office building with training room and facilities), joining the project of the Social Economy Support Center (over PLN 2 million – project currently being implemented). Indirect recipients are adults at risk of social exclusion, who, thanks to the development of social economy, have a chance to stabilize their professional situation. They can use the help of lawyers, psychologists, and career counselors. Animation and training sessions are also conducted for them, preparing them for employment in various professions). promoting the Promotion and Education Center and raising funds for the development of generally accessible infrastructure around the seat. The center provides services to the local community (making room and equipment available), supporting the organization of events (council meetings, NGO meetings), education (free and paid classes for children, competitions for schools and kindergartens). The room is also used to conduct SGR training. Erasmus Plus – 2020 – activities related to adult education – staff training in the field of Action Learning, Clean Coaching, Job Shadowing, Erasmus Plus 2022 (KA220-ADU – Cooperation partnerships in adult education) – currently ongoing project From Amazons to Glamazons is aimed at women facing a breast cancer crisis and focuses on developing comprehensive tools for self-care and support during the crisis. Creation of the SkillUp House – 2021, the activities of which focus on diagnosing the talents and predispositions of youth and adults, and supporting adolescence problems. Main statutory goals: sustainable development of the SGR area of activity, improving the quality of life in the area of SGR operations, initiating and supporting activities carried out on the basis of partnership, social, professional and economic activation of residents in the area of operation counteracting unemployment and preventing social exclusion of the inhabitants of the area, supporting the diversification of economic activity, supporting the development of education of residents, social, professional and economic activation of residents. | ||
What are the activities and experience of the organisation in the areas relevant for this application? | SGR is a team of experienced trainers and coaches who have been conducting developmental training for various groups for many years. We led the School of Social Entrepreneurship Leaders, where we trained participants in areas such as stress management and communication. We conduct coaching training for teachers on using various tools in their work with students. We have collaborated with schools, working with students based on the results of the comprehensive PCT-Y test, focusing on their talents and strengthening their self-esteem. Currently, we are implementing a project in cooperation with schools, where the workshops are based on an original game (in board, online, and outdoor versions). The workshops focus on working with talents, teamwork (including communication), and emotional management. As part of the „From Amazons to Glamazons” project, we developed, in collaboration with our Partners, original training programs for individuals in crisis (i.e., under severe stress): Psychoeducation – action recovery, Motivation in crisis, Art Therapy – the path from crisis to power. Our trainers have over 15 years of experience in conducting training sessions. | ||
What are the skills and expertise of key staff/persons involved in this application? | Aleksandra Klimczuk: over 15 years experience in advisory services, trainings and coaching in the scope of development of human resources, project management, managing changes, evaluation and monitoring of actions. Over 15 years of experience in preparation and management of training projects (EU); 10 years experience as a director of the office in NGO: controlling and management of the work of the office, preparation of procedures, budget and activities schedules. Agnieszka Biernacka: over 11 years experience in self employment – designing of development processes, needs analysis, preparation and leading of trainings and coaching activities, mentoring, tutoring, animating local community. Experience in the work of animator, over 7 years of experience in the group work, leading of meetings, presentations- conducting lectures, conversatories. Milena Ugorska-Knapczyk: many years of experience in the implementation and coordination of projects, including international ones. Over 10 years of experience in facilitating local communities, organizing and conducting training sessions, coaching, conferences, and other events. More than 5 years of experience in brand development and graphic design. | ||
